Responsibilities
- Provide drafting and design expertise for creating 3D models and production equipment.
- Assist Sales in creating equipment proposals with engineering and design expertise.
- Evaluate manufacturing feasibility and estimate costs for material handling systems.
- Design system layouts and specific components using 2D and 3D CAD software.
- Document engineering designs in the corporate database.
- Support existing engineering processes and develop new processes.
- Prepare specifications for equipment purchases and work with procurement for quotations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing and project engineering.
- Preferred experience in designing automated machinery and material handling equipment.
- Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD; experience with Revit is a plus.
- Strong technical writing skills for clear documentation.
- Solid understanding of drafting standards and common manufacturing processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
