Responsibilities
- Provide drafting and design expertise for creating 3D models and production equipment.
- Assist in creating equipment proposals with engineering and design expertise.
- Evaluate manufacturing feasibility and estimate costs for material handling systems.
- Design systems layout and components using 2D and 3D CAD software.
- Document engineering designs in the corporate database.
- Support existing engineering processes and develop new ones.
- Prepare specifications for equipment purchase and work with procurement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing and project engineering.
- Preferred experience in automated machinery and material handling equipment design.
- Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD; experience with Revit is a plus.
- Strong technical writing skills for clear documentation.
- Ability to analyze and design basic mechanical components and systems.
- Willingness to travel to project sites up to 20% of the time.
