Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers on design, analysis, and evaluation of turbomachinery components.
- Create 2D cross sections, 3D models, and electronic data formats for manufacturing and assembly.
- Perform reverse engineering using scan data to create new part models.
- Ensure designs comply with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing standards.
- Support design reviews and collaborate across disciplines for system integration.
- Communicate significant issues or developments in a timely manner.
- Participate in R&D of additive technologies and methodologies to enhance product design.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Industrial Design.
- 10+ years of experience in designing complex additive or gas turbine components.
- Proficient in design software tools such as NX and SolidWorks.
- Experience with 3D scan data and parametric modeling.
- Knowledge of PLM/PDM systems and additive manufacturing principles.
- Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
