Responsibilities
- Lead improvements in uptime, cycle time, and first-pass yield (FPY) for manufacturing test equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed manufacturing test equipment expectations.
- Perform data analysis and customer discussions to address challenges with manufacturing test equipment.
- Understand engineering principles of test equipment and operations to support design teams.
- Build, validate, and deploy test equipment to production lines while ensuring documentation is seamless.
- Provide ongoing troubleshooting support for testers after deployment.
- Support troubleshooting and qualification during the development and ramp-up of manufacturing equipment.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in electrical test systems design.
- Exposure to various test and automation systems and production machinery.
- Hands-on experience in designing and building end-of-line and functional test systems.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Understanding of grid simulators and power system controls.
- Ability to read and understand software code (e.g., TestStand, LabVIEW, Python, C).
- Basic proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
