Responsibilities
- Provide Manufacturing Engineering support for Tactical RF aperture and electronic products.
- Participate in manufacturing projects including work cell design and optimization.
- Engage in Lean manufacturing projects for continuous improvement.
- Develop tools for projecting manufacturing resource needs.
- Gain competence in BAE Systems manufacturing system tools.
- Present project work to the Manufacturing Engineering department at the conclusion of the internship.
- Maintain effective working relationships within the department and the company.
Job Requirements
- Must have completed sophomore or junior year and be enrolled in a degree program for fall 2025.
- Degree must be from an accredited institution.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts and tools.
- Preferred fields: Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering.
- Coursework in work cell design and modeling is preferred.
