Responsibilities
- Develops, documents, and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for hardware and software systems.
- Develops system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications.
- Develops and maintains code and integrates hardware and software components into a fully functional system.
- Performs, integrates, and documents system performance and test results to validate and verify systems and components.
- Conducts live demonstrations of working systems in laboratory and field environments for stakeholders and customers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, with 2 or more years of related work experience.
- Mastery of at least one robotics-related area and working knowledge of others.
- Ability to design new autonomous systems, including defining requirements and selecting hardware.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing software for data collection and decision-making.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of aircraft conceptual design and dynamics is preferred.
- Must be available to work on-site at Cambridge, MA or Manassas, VA weekly.
