Responsibilities

  • Develops, documents, and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for hardware and software systems.
  • Develops system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications.
  • Develops and maintains code and integrates hardware and software components into a fully functional system.
  • Performs, integrates, and documents system performance and test results to validate and verify systems and components.
  • Conducts live demonstrations of working systems in laboratory and field environments for stakeholders and customers.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, with 2 or more years of related work experience.
  • Mastery of at least one robotics-related area and working knowledge of others.
  • Ability to design new autonomous systems, including defining requirements and selecting hardware.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing software for data collection and decision-making.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of aircraft conceptual design and dynamics is preferred.
  • Must be available to work on-site at Cambridge, MA or Manassas, VA weekly.
