Responsibilities
- Prepare basic specifications for project assignments detailing client performance requirements and design needs.
- Prepare routine sketches and perform engineering calculations for projects.
- Review vendor drawings for compliance with specifications.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Track project schedules and budgets.
- Comply with company and client health, safety, security, and environmental standards.
- Visit job-sites and vendor facilities for evaluations and inspections.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required, preferably in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience preferred.
- Experience with Caesar II, NozzlePRO, and/or PIPE-FLO software preferred.
- Knowledge of piping systems and process equipment design preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant codes (ASME, API, etc.) preferred.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
