Responsibilities
- Mechanical lead on design of magnetic products such as Transformers and Inductors
- Follow good design/manufacturing practices and company quality guidelines
- Generate high quality and complete engineering drawings following industry standards
- Update existing legacy product documentation via Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process
- Support other mechanical engineers and staff when necessary
- Provide project updates during weekly meetings to department and program managers
- Release and update design documentation via document control systems
Job Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
- Proficient with CAD software packages (ProE/Creo preferred, 2D CAD software experience a +)
- Experience in material selection and manufacturing processes
- Good communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts
- Initiative and understanding of process flow
- Experience working with sheet metal designs is highly desired
