Responsibilities
- Develop flight hardware avionics, including computing and command & data handling (C&DH).
- Perform trade studies for electrical and avionics systems.
- Analyze and verify operating modes of launch vehicles by designing and testing avionics systems.
- Select and research components from vendors to meet project needs.
- Develop test scripts or simulations for integrated systems testing.
- Participate in qualification tests of flight design units.
- Deliver technical reports on tests and advancements in avionics and power systems.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in schematic and board design using software like Altium or OrCAD.
- Skills in rapid prototype development and strong debugging abilities.
- Experience with various communications protocols (e.g., RS-422, CAN, I2C).
- Digital, analog, and signal conditioning design skills.
- Extensive knowledge of integrated systems technologies.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in electronics hardware development.
- B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience.
