Responsibilities
- Drive design for manufacturability (DFM) from design release through ATP Test.
- Represent the manufacturing organization in cross-functional teams for concept feasibility.
- Generate mBOMs, CONOPS, and maintain build schedules throughout development.
- Create work instructions, specifications, and standardize processes across the manufacturing team.
- Implement new manufacturing capabilities and resolve conflicting requirements.
- Train technicians in a hands-on hardware environment and write detailed work instructions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and production testing processes.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical and/or mechanical engineering designs.
- Expertise in design for manufacturability and assembly.
- Familiarity with spacecraft and launch vehicle design and testing.
- Experience with capacity modeling and fault analysis.
- Proficiency in CAD and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
