Responsibilities
- Build and develop a high-performing GNC team.
- Drive requirements, algorithm development, and simulation modeling for GNC.
- Integrate AI/ML-assisted tools into GNC workflows.
- Build out test automation across various environments.
- Collaborate with other departments to define critical interfaces and system requirements.
- Support launch operations and manage GNC responsibilities during flight.
- Utilize test and flight data to enhance system performance and simulation fidelity.
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in aerospace vehicle GNC development and simulation.
- Proven technical leadership and systems thinking capabilities.
- Experience in team building, mentoring, and direct technical involvement.
- Knowledge of control systems and sensor integration for navigation.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools in engineering workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for cross-subsystem issues.
- Advanced degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
