Responsibilities
- Manage projects from start to completion, collaborating with other engineering and manufacturing groups.
- Plan, design, and develop products and components, preparing layouts and detailed drawings.
- Analyze test data to determine if designs meet specifications.
- Review new product production to ensure quality standards and cost-effectiveness.
- Use CAD software for engineering and design tasks, and create/update bills of materials.
- Oversee installation and testing of field test units at customer sites.
- Monitor technology markets and customer feedback for new product opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5-8+ years of engineering experience in product design within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in industry drafting and CAD standards, including Autodesk Inventor.
- Hands-on experience with problem recognition and solution implementation.
- Knowledge of business ERP systems and software.
- Professional engineering licensure preferred.
