Process Engineering Intern (Summer 2025)

The internship at ASM offers hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry, focusing on core engineering roles and aimed at shaping future industry leaders.

• Work with the Process Engineering team on semiconductor processing and analytical equipment.
• Research, develop, and optimize processes related to oxidation, annealing, curing, ALD, Epitaxy, or PECVD.
• Learn about ALD technology and contribute to film optimization.
• Assist process engineering teams in improving efficiencies for Epi technology.
• Support detailed reports and presentations of results or issues.
• Optimize ALD process parameters to meet target requirements.
• Contribute to simplifying chamber matching processes for GAA applications.

• Currently pursuing a PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of material characterization.
• Preferred knowledge of device fabrication.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week on-site.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Interest in semiconductor technology and innovation.
• Willingness to learn from experienced professionals in the field.
