Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical engineering designs and provide multi-disciplinary design leadership.
- Design mechanical systems such as airside systems, hydronic plant systems, specialty exhaust systems, and steam systems.
- Coordinate with multiple disciplines and project managers for comprehensive design deliverables.
- Assist, supervise, and mentor team members while providing feedback and recognition.
- Maintain strong client relations for project delivery and repeat business.
- Prepare drawings, specifications, technical reports, and incorporate sustainable design methods.
- Present technical material effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in designing building HVAC systems, particularly for hospital projects.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (IMC, IECC/ASHRAE 90.1, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Presentation skills with commercial and financial awareness.
- Exceptional organization skills to manage a dynamic work environment.
