Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to explore and implement design solutions.
- Use Creo 3D CAD for design implementation and produce necessary drawings and files.
- Manage peer and cross-functional team reviews of designs.
- Structure and manage the bill of materials (BOM) using product lifecycle management tools.
- Conduct thermal simulations and design heat sinks based on results.
- Perform air flow and thermal testing to validate designs.
- Communicate and resolve manufacturing issues during prototype testing.
Job Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in mechanical design for computer/network equipment is preferred.
- Experience designing sheet metal and plastic parts.
- Familiarity with PTC Creo and thermal simulation is a plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel to Asia and North America as required.
- Experience with product lifecycle management tools is advantageous.
