Responsibilities
- Design and develop medical device components and assemblies using CAD tools like SolidWorks.
- Build and test prototypes to evaluate design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, clinical development, and quality engineering teams.
- Prepare detailed design documentation including engineering drawings and models.
- Apply GD&T to ensure precision in designs.
- Conduct product verification and validation testing and document results.
- Participate in risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering, or equivalent.
- Up to two years of relevant engineering experience in product design or prototyping.
- Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks.
- Understanding of GD&T and engineering documentation standards.
- Experience creating and testing prototypes using hands-on tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
