Responsibilities
- Perform engineering analysis under general supervision.
- Design or modify basic mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, or drawings/specifications.
- Coordinate the procurement and assembly of mechanical components for design projects.
- Perform and document engineering test reports and generate documentation for product releases.
- Troubleshoot a variety of mechanical problems of moderate difficulty.
- Design, develop, and implement custom mechanical tooling and associated processes.
- Enable the handling, assembly, and disassembly of parts and components throughout the product lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 2-4 years of related experience.
- Working experience with CAD software and thermodynamics.
- Knowledge of sheet metal design, material selection, and manufacturing methods.
- Familiarity with GD&T, flow analysis, and Design for Excellence principles.
- Ability to work under general supervision and coordinate multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills in mechanical engineering contexts.
