Responsibilities
- Directs an engineering group for product line issues, including design and implementation of complex engineering programs.
- Develops long-range plans and engineering strategies to achieve business goals.
- Interfaces with internal and external customers regarding engineering issues.
- Works with senior management to ensure alignment of programs and strategies with organizational goals.
- Provides leadership and approval guidelines to engineering managers.
- Defines performance metrics and monitors engineering progress against goals.
- Applies advanced analytical thought to solve complex business problems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 10-15 years of experience in RF systems, particularly in semiconductor equipment.
- High-level knowledge of RF systems, including operation and safety requirements.
- Familiarity with plasma generation by RF systems.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to influence senior executives.
- Ability to manage and mentor junior to mid-level engineers.
- Understanding of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct.
