Responsibilities
- Design and develop individual parts and modules for Apple products.
- Engage in initial architecture planning and create 3D CAD and 2D drawings.
- Conduct critical tolerance analysis for successful mass production assembly.
- Manage cross-functional design and integration of system modules.
- Communicate with vendors and manufacturers to develop necessary fixtures and processes.
- Perform design of experiments (DOE) to validate engineering options.
- Utilize metrology equipment and perform statistical analysis for design validation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1 year of experience in mechanical product design and development.
- Proficiency in mechanics of materials, heat transfer, and mechanism design.
- Experience with 2D design drawing and GD&T conforming to ASME standards.
- Knowledge of PCB and FPCB design and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with tolerance analysis and statistical tools like JMP or Minitab.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and fabrication techniques.
