Responsibilities
- Conceive, design, validate, and launch new products in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Define CAD, create drawings, and collaborate with vendors for production.
- Perform engineering analyses using methods such as hand calculations and computer simulations.
- Assemble early prototypes and support engineering builds in China.
- Solve problems on the assembly line related to product design.
- Engage with manufacturers to ensure design specifications are met.
- Utilize 3D and 2D CAD skills to create product designs.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in production part design.
- Strong engineering fundamentals and CAD skills (preferably NX).
- Proficient in analyzing engineering data using spreadsheets.
- Creative problem-solving skills with experience in failure analysis.
- Knowledge of soft goods materials and assembly processes is preferred.
- Good verbal and written presentation skills.
