Responsibilities
- Verification of Quick Turn PCBA Vendor Technical Capabilities
- Develop and maintain PCBA DFM procedures and checklists
- Ensure proper management of PCBA prototype, EVT, and DVT assembly and test
- Support component engineering to meet PCBA DFM requirements
- Develop and maintain PCBA assembly workmanship standards
- Verification of volume PCB vendor technical and quality capabilities
- Support ongoing Apple service/quality issues related to PCBA manufacturing
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in microelectronics fabrication and PCBA assembly
- BS in engineering disciplines (mechanical, industrial, chemical, electrical, or materials science)
- High level of creativity and curiosity about materials science and electronics packaging
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage and deliver results
- Willingness to travel frequently (i.e., >25%)
- Strong knowledge of PCBA processes and standards
