Responsibilities
- Verify Quick Turn PCBA Vendor Technical Capabilities.
- Develop and maintain PCBA DFM procedures and checklists.
- Manage PCBA prototype, EVT, and DVT assembly and test at manufacturing subcontractors.
- Support component engineering to ensure component specifications meet PCBA DFM requirements.
- Develop and maintain PCBA assembly workmanship standards.
- Ensure maintenance of approved manufacturing processes at PCBA manufacturing subcontractors.
- Manage the development of necessary tooling and/or automation equipment.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in microelectronics fabrication and PCBA assembly.
- BS in engineering disciplines (mechanical, industrial, chemical, electrical, or materials science).
- High level of creativity and curiosity about materials science and electronics packaging.
- Ability to work with a cross-functional team to define requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage and deliver results.
- Willingness to travel frequently (>25%).
- Experience in developing and maintaining process parameters and guidelines.
