Responsibilities
- Verify Quick Turn PCBA Vendor Technical Capabilities
- Develop and maintain PCBA DFM procedures and checklists
- Ensure proper management of PCBA prototype, EVT, and DVT assembly and test at manufacturing subcontractors
- Support Component Engineering by ensuring component specifications meet PCBA DFM requirements
- Ensure maintenance of approved manufacturing processes at PCBA manufacturing subcontractors
- Develop and maintain cable assembly processes using hot bar equipment
- Support ongoing Apple service/quality issues related to PCBA manufacturing
Job Requirements
- 3+ years experience with microelectronics fabrication and PCBA assembly
- BS in engineering disciplines (mechanical, industrial, chemical, electrical, or materials science)
- High level of creativity and curiosity about materials science and electronics packaging
- Ability to work with a cross-functional team to define requirements and metrics
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage and deliver results in a development role
- Willingness to travel frequently (i.e., >25%)
