Responsibilities
- Define power-efficient SOC architecture and schemes; write power specifications.
- Estimate pre-silicon power and build wireless application and atomic power models.
- Define and generate power vectors with Design and DV support.
- Collect pre-silicon power data using power flow and tools.
- Analyze and identify power reductions.
- Support post-silicon power correlation.
Job Requirements
- BS degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of ASIC power and experience with power tools (e.g., PTPX, Power Artist).
- Understanding of ASIC logic design and low-power design principles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Python).
- Basic knowledge of common SOC components (e.g., CPU, fabric, peripherals, PCIe).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Preferred: Pre-silicon power estimation and modeling experience, wireless knowledge (WIFI, BT, UWB).
