Responsibilities
- Provide technical advice and support to operations and maintenance.
- Design and implement reliability improvement strategies for equipment.
- Create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bills of materials.
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and servo systems.
- Lead risk assessment and value analysis for engineering decisions.
- Review modifications or installations for engineering standards compliance.
- Manage contractor activities related to equipment repairs and modifications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a journeyman license with certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Preferred: professional registration or progress towards it.
- Knowledge of electrical safety codes.
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and servo systems.
- Effective communication skills for leading and supporting teams.
