Responsibilities
- Ownership over initial vehicle builds and oversight of technicians.
- Management of early inventory stocking and low-rate supply chain oversight.
- Resolution of development testing failures and incorporation into product design.
- Planning of low-rate production space.
- Collaboration with design engineers to address build and test issues.
- Providing DFX feedback to reduce build time and quality issues.
- Handoff of a mature product for high-rate scaling to the production organization.
Job Requirements
- Experience in technical projects in a professional or collegiate setting.
- Demonstrated project/technical leadership skills.
- 2+ years of mechanical/design experience.
- Proficiency in CAD and ability to create high-quality engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly methods.
- Hands-on prototyping skills.
- BS or MS in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience.
