Responsibilities
- Ownership over initial vehicle builds and oversight of technicians.
- Responsible for early inventory stocking and low-rate supply chain oversight.
- Ensure development testing failures are resolved and incorporated into product design.
- Plan low-rate production space.
- Collaborate with design engineers to address build and test issues.
- Provide DFX feedback to reduce build time and quality issues.
- Handoff a mature product for high-rate scaling to the production organization.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of mechanical/design experience in a professional setting.
- Experience in immersive technical projects.
- Demonstrated project/technical leadership skills.
- CAD skills and ability to create high-quality engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly methods.
- Proficient in hands-on prototyping skills.
- BS or MS in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience.
