Responsibilities
- Generate conceptual design layouts for new hardware using CAD.
- Create detailed production drawings using GD&T and perform tolerance stackup analysis.
- Interface with fabrication and assembly teams during hardware builds.
- Design and test composite structures, machined components, and propulsion fluid systems.
- Update drawings to support manufacturing processes.
- Responsible for configuration management at the system or subsystem level.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with detailed mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Unigraphics, Solidworks).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding and application of GD&T.
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
- Strong hands-on technical skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
