Responsibilities
- Fabricate wire harnesses from assembly drawings and electrical schematics.
- Execute and support assigned tasks and project activities.
- Understand intricate cable harnesses, wiring diagrams, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Conduct repairs and reworks of cable harnesses/assemblies.
- Procure and source harness components under the direction of lead engineers.
- Use a Hi-pot for harness testing.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineering in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in harness manufacturing or repair in the defense/commercial aerospace industry.
- Hands-on experience in constructing cables or building prototypes.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret cable wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Knowledge of specific military connector standards and hand tools.
- U.S. Person status required for access to export-controlled data.
- Associate degree in electronics/electrical assembly or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
