Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, R&D, Quality & Regulatory).
- Create and modify designs/drawings using SolidWorks.
- Test prototype devices for functionality.
- Support manufacturing with failure analysis.
- Work in the lab, summarize data, perform tests, and write technical reports.
- Participate in team meetings and updates.
- Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and presentations.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering (Junior year or above).
- Self-motivated with an interest in medical devices.
- 3-D modeling skills (NX Unigraphics & SolidWorks preferred).
- Experience using hand tools and performing mechanical testing.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Previous co-op experience in manufacturing at a medical device company preferred.
