Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, R&D, Quality & Regulatory).
  • Create and modify designs/drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Test prototype devices for functionality.
  • Support manufacturing with failure analysis.
  • Work in the lab, summarize data, perform tests, and write technical reports.
  • Participate in team meetings and updates.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for documentation and presentations.

Job Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering (Junior year or above).
  • Self-motivated with an interest in medical devices.
  • 3-D modeling skills (NX Unigraphics & SolidWorks preferred).
  • Experience using hand tools and performing mechanical testing.
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
  • Previous co-op experience in manufacturing at a medical device company preferred.
