Responsibilities
- Oversee design, analysis, documentation, factory integration, and on-site installation of mechanical products.
- Conduct structural analysis and machine design, selecting precision drive components.
- Optimize designs for cost-effective fabrication and integration of positioning systems.
- Perform analytical tasks including strength of materials, static/dynamic/thermal analysis, and weldment design.
- Ensure compliance with product safety standards.
- Engage with customers and present technical information effectively.
- Travel approximately 30% domestically and internationally.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering required.
- 5+ years of applicable experience in mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and machine element design.
- Knowledge of ANSI Y14.5 GD&T standards for detailed drawings.
- Familiarity with precision machining and welding practices.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. and access export-controlled information.
