Responsibilities
- Oversee design, analysis, documentation, factory integration, and on-site installation of mechanical products.
- Optimize designs for cost-effective fabrication and integration of positioning systems.
- Conduct structural analysis and machine design, including selection of precision drive components.
- Ensure compliance with product safety standards and regulations.
- Generate detailed drawings using ANSI Y14.5 GD&T standards.
- Utilize finite element analysis (FEA) for stress and safety margin evaluations.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members, demonstrating strong leadership abilities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of applicable experience in mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Experience with weldment design and documentation per AWS standards.
- Strong foundation in mechanical engineering fundamentals, including machine design.
- Familiarity with precision machining and welding practices.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and access export-controlled information.
