Industrial Engineering Intern

The role is for an Industrial Engineering Intern at Telular, focusing on real-world engineering projects within the RMA Center, which involves testing and repairing GPS asset tracking and tank level monitors returned by customers.

• Assist with the implementation of new RMA production lines
• Work on existing RMA lines to improve layout, cycle time, and workflow
• Conduct Value Stream Mapping of proposed and existing lines
• Create Work Instructions
• Implement solutions and standard work
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager
• Gain hands-on experience in engineering projects

• Must be enrolled in a relevant Engineering degree program at an accredited university
• Preferably a sophomore or higher-level standing
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email communication
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Skills in problem definition, data collection, and drawing conclusions
• Ability to read assembly prints for assembly/disassembly of motors with training and supervision
