Responsibilities
- Design thermal solutions for AMD's Data Center GPUs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for thermal-mechanical solutions.
- Contribute throughout the product cycle from conceptualization to mass production.
- Conduct thermal validation of hardware at chip, card, and system levels.
- Investigate novel thermal technologies and evaluate them for product alignment.
- Drive process improvements for fast time-to-market on products.
- Utilize CFD tools for liquid cooling system designs.
Job Requirements
- Strong background in heat transfer and fluid dynamics for electronics thermal management.
- Experience with CFD tools, particularly Icepak or similar.
- Proficiency in CAD tools like SolidWorks or Creo.
- Understanding of thermal management design elements.
- Experience in rack-level and Datacenter design.
- Knowledge of liquid cooling solutions and related components.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-organizational collaboration.
