Responsibilities
- Interface with suppliers and customers to review requirements, resolve bugs, report testing results, and provide feedback.
- Analyze power delivery from rack inputs to servers and ensure compatibility with data center systems.
- Collaborate to develop detailed testing plans for customer data center power delivery requirements.
- Develop new testing tools and equipment for qualifying racks to ensure zero downtime.
- Write technical documentation and presentations for internal and external use.
- Lead other engineers in executing power testing in the lab using various power test equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Proven ability to work with suppliers and customers.
- Experience with power electronics for server systems, including AC/DC conversion and power delivery.
- Strong analog circuit skills.
- Experience testing power designs using test equipment.
- Knowledge of server power management protocols such as IPMI, PMBus, and SMBus.
