Responsibilities
- Drive complex cross-functional engineering trades to optimize system performance, manufacturability, and reliability.
- Develop manufacturing processes, test setups, methods, and tooling.
- Manage technical requirements and interfaces aligning with system-level needs.
- Conduct trade studies and analyses to understand design performance.
- Lead the development and delivery of complex software and hardware features.
- Automate mechanisms to optimize engineering development velocity.
- Manage timelines, dependencies, and deliverables effectively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of mechanical systems/test development experience.
- 3+ years in a technical lead, systems engineer, or technical program management role.
- 3+ years leading cross-functional teams to deliver products on schedule.
- Proficiency with schedule tracking tools like MS Project or SmartSheet.
- Experience with mechanical systems for space applications preferred.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
