Responsibilities
- Own and lead supplier quality management activities including requirements definition and production process validation.
- Guide product development teams on supplier selection and quality assessments.
- Partner with manufacturing quality teams to ensure compliance with AS9100 & ISO9001.
- Scale supplier processes to reduce defect rates with increasing volumes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in PCBA inspection and process control.
- Lead external audit teams and influence supplier investments for quality improvement.
- Analyze and improve supplier quality metrics and manage QC inspection frameworks.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Prototyping and implementation experience.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools (preferred).
- Experience in designing complex mechanical products at volume (preferred).
- Strong analytical abilities and effective communication skills.
- Passion for developing high-quality hardware in volume production.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and build trust with stakeholders.
