Responsibilities
- Design high-quality, cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution warehouses.
- Manage multiple engineering design projects simultaneously.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as the primary technical contact for suppliers during project execution.
- Support the Ops Engineering team during installation and commissioning of designed systems.
- Work on both template-based and custom-designed projects for automated fulfillment centers.
- Engage in a fast-paced environment with a focus on high-impact projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or 5+ years of Amazon experience.
- 5+ years in Design/Innovation Engineering or related fields.
- Proven experience in managing engineering design projects.
- Proficiency in business/technical software such as MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Engineering or related fields and experience with automated handling equipment.
- Knowledge of Lean Principles and process design.
- Ability to travel up to 20%, including globally.
