Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to design cost-effective solutions for distribution warehouses.
- Own multiple engineering design projects from concept realization through design approval.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers during projects.
- Support the Ops Engineering team during installation and commissioning of designed systems.
- Work on green-field, brown-field, and retrofit projects, including highly automated systems.
- Engage in high-impact and high-visibility projects within a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure successful project completion and system launch.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or 5+ years of Amazon experience.
- 5+ years in Design/Innovation Engineering, Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering, or related.
- Experience in ownership/management of engineering design projects.
- Proficiency in business/technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software.
- Master’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
- Experience with automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and robotics.
- Ability to travel 20%, including globally.
