Responsibilities
- Design high-quality, cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems.
- Manage multiple engineering design projects simultaneously.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers.
- Collaborate with the Ops Engineering team for project hand-off and support during installation and commissioning.
- Work on various types of projects, including green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits.
- Engage with a skilled engineering team in a fast-paced environment.
- Focus on high-impact projects across North America and Europe.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Design/Innovation Engineering or related fields.
- Proven experience in managing engineering design projects.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software.
- Willingness to travel globally (20%).
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Engineering or related fields with additional experience in automated systems and Lean Principles.
- Experience with system architecture and design-in-safety principles.
