Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of complex discrete-event simulations for new technologies.
- Utilize simulation software (FlexSim, Emulate 3D) to optimize mechanical designs and processes.
- Collaborate with Hardware Development Engineers to understand system requirements.
- Design and run simulation experiments to validate operational metrics and physical interactions.
- Analyze results and present findings to cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior engineers on simulation best practices.
- Coordinate with vendors on complex multi-system simulations.
Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or equivalent.
- Experience with Discrete Event Simulation (DES) and process simulation tools (preferably Flexsim).
- Solid understanding of mechanical design principles.
- Experience in an industrial process environment (Manufacturing, Logistics).
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., R, MATLAB, Python).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
