Responsibilities
- Execute product designs from concept to production, including design, prototyping, validation, testing, and certification.
- Develop requirements, functional specifications, DVT plans, and test procedures.
- Build and support concept prototype systems using a mix of in-house and OTS components.
- Design, implement, and debug embedded systems, analog, and digital circuits.
- Support product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments.
- Research and advocate for new technologies and projects to help the business.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide advice and direction to outside projects/other groups.
Job Requirements
- Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.
- Experience integrating image sensors into compact printed circuit boards.
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production.
- Experience with the project management of technical projects.
- Experience qualifying image sensors.
