Responsibilities
- Design robotic and servo-driven industrial automation workcells from concept to production.
- Architect safety control systems for industrial automation and robotics.
- Write requirements and develop project schedules related to safety systems.
- Ensure compliance with ANSI/ISO/IEC safety standards.
- Maintain Technical Construction Files (TCF) and conduct safety risk assessments.
- Collaborate with various teams to transition design changes into production.
- Travel to vendors and installation sites to maintain quality.
Job Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in industrial automation and robotics system design.
- Knowledge of machinery and electrical safety standards.
- Experience in high and low voltage electrical design.
- Ability to read and redline electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience in regulated industries applying safety standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
