Responsibilities
- Plan and execute precise dimensional measurements using laser tracker technology.
- Analyze measurement data to ensure accuracy and repeatability.
- Develop control algorithms to minimize robot path errors.
- Modify and debug control software for industrial robots.
- Integrate robotic systems with automation equipment and sensors.
- Create user interfaces and data acquisition systems for robot control.
- Collaborate on safety analysis and maintain robotic safety systems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Robotics Engineer or similar role.
- 2+ years of experience in Laser Tracker metrology.
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing mechanical fixtures.
- Strong programming skills in relevant languages (C++, Python).
- Experience with data analysis and robot simulation.
- Physical ability to lift 35 lb and climb 20' ladders (infrequent).
