Responsibilities
- Design and improve system controls architecture including machine control code and safety design.
- Develop controls code on Codesys platforms.
- Identify and implement system optimizations.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams for real-time implementations.
- Partner with hardware engineering for product development from prototyping to production.
- Test and debug systems in both lab and field environments.
- Develop tools for system monitoring and troubleshooting.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in motion control systems for robotics or industrial automation.
- 1+ years of experience in system design or architecture.
- BS/MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar field.
- Proficiency in C++, CodeSys, and PLCs.
- Knowledge of IEC standards for robotics programming.
- Experience with version control systems like GIT.
- Strong debugging skills and problem-solving abilities.
