Responsibilities
- Perform link budget analysis and select appropriate RF ICs and passive components.
- Review and optimize PCB schematics and layouts.
- Validate RF performance and troubleshoot issues from the sub-component to the system level.
- Collaborate with verification and validation engineers to create comprehensive test plans.
- Work cross-functionally to meet form factor and industrial design requirements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing test and operations teams to ensure efficient RF testing.
- Lead test campaigns and provide guidance to other engineers and technicians.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in board-level design and prototyping for consumer electronics.
- 3+ years of experience in designing and testing RF sub-systems.
- Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout software tools.
- Experience with troubleshooting RF sub-system issues.
- Familiarity with specialized RF validation testing equipment.
- Knowledge of high-volume manufacturing test requirements for RF sub-systems.
