Responsibilities
- Perform link budget analysis and select appropriate RF ICs and passive components.
- Review and optimize PCB schematics and layouts.
- Use specialized test equipment to validate RF performance from sub-component to system level.
- Validate RF performance and troubleshoot RF issues.
- Collaborate with verification and validation engineers to create test plans.
- Work cross-functionally with engineers to meet design requirements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing test teams to ensure efficient testing of RF performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in board-level design and prototyping for consumer electronics.
- 3+ years of experience in designing, testing, and debugging RF sub-systems.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout software tools.
- Experience with system integration risks related to wireless technologies.
- Experience with RF validation tests using specialized equipment.
- Experience with DFM and high-volume manufacturing test requirements for RF sub-systems.
