Responsibilities
- Perform link budget analysis and select appropriate RF ICs and passive components.
- Review and optimize PCB schematics and layouts.
- Use specialized test equipment to validate RF performance from the sub-component to the system level.
- Validate RF performance and troubleshoot RF issues at various levels.
- Collaborate with verification and validation engineers to create comprehensive test plans.
- Work cross-functionally with other engineers to meet design requirements while preventing interference.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure efficient RF test fixture design and setup.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in board-level design and prototyping for consumer electronics.
- 3+ years of experience in designing, testing, and debugging RF sub-systems.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout software tools.
- Experience with wireless technologies and their system integration challenges.
- Experience with RF validation tests using specialized equipment.
- Knowledge of high-volume manufacturing test requirements for RF sub-systems.
