Responsibilities
- Serve as the PD Direct Responsible Individual (DRI) for multiple system components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve electromechanical problems.
- Identify key design constraints and priorities.
- Apply mechanical fundamentals and judgment in design decisions.
- Deliver robust, flexible, durable, and high-performing designs.
- Communicate effectively with PD team members, cross-functional teams, and executives.
- Focus on customer needs when addressing ambiguous problems.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product design.
- 3+ years of experience with 3D CAD modeling and 2D drawing creation.
- Experience in designing for high volume manufacturing.
- Experience in tolerance analysis and statistical analysis techniques.
- Preferred: MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Preferred: Experience in consumer electronics and IP66 rated products.
