Responsibilities
- Define and execute satellite power subsystem checkouts and tests for system health and performance.
- Provide engineering support on satellite production testing and mission activities.
- Develop interface control documentation, requirements specification, and verification matrix for the power system.
- Create test systems and plans for electrical power subsystem functionality testing.
- Collaborate with test and system engineers to develop functional test procedures.
- Investigate failures and drive resolution in collaboration with design engineers.
- Understand and implement satellite and battery safety mechanisms.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical power systems, power electronics, battery, or solar.
- Experience in requirements definition and verification compliance for complex electrical systems.
- Preferred experience with interdisciplinary teams in product design.
- System test verification experience in power conversion, solar, or satellites.
- Proficiency in Matlab, Python, or C/C++ for test equipment interface.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
