Responsibilities
- Provide PCB/PCBA DFM feedback and escalate manufacturing challenges early in product development.
- Drive the PCBA Manufacturing Qualification process, defining readiness requirements and leading milestone reviews.
- Investigate and develop new manufacturing technologies to improve quality and reduce costs.
- Address operational issues during pre-production builds and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Investigate production failures and implement continuous improvement efforts.
- Identify opportunities for risk reduction and simplification in manufacturing processes.
- Monitor product success through production ramp and provide status reports on PCBAs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in PCBA/PCB production/processes and manufacturing engineering.
- Familiarity with board assembly processes and related equipment.
- Experience leading DFX reviews for manufacturability and reliability.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Preferred: Master’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in PCBA/PCB supply chain or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as Lean principles and Six Sigma.
