Responsibilities
- Design space hardware production processes and production lines.
- Manage equipment design, procurement, installation, and qualification.
- Collaborate with supply chain partners to manage critical vendors.
- Define material flow planning and manufacturing processes.
- Support space hardware testing, including tooling design and data analysis.
- Optimize assembly, integration, and test takt time & cost.
- Troubleshoot production issues and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in developing, building, and testing mechanical assemblies.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in planning and driving process development campaigns (preferred).
- Experience with integrated and mechanical assemblies, including troubleshooting.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills.
- Ability to develop clear build and test instructions from complex requirements.
- Experience working with RF systems and/or fiber optics (preferred).
