Responsibilities
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production.
- Work with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality organizations to ensure smooth product launch.
- Write requirements, functional specifications, design verification plans, and test procedures.
- Exhibit thorough engineering analysis and ownership of projects.
- Design holistic hardware solutions for ambiguous problems.
- Collaborate with teams and vendors to deliver automation solutions.
- Create design experiments and support deployed hardware.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD tools.
- Hands-on experience in crafting proof-of-concept models and prototypes.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and their application to product design.
- Effective communication skills for conveying concepts and writing technical documents.
- Experience evaluating design and performance tradeoffs for hardware systems.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks Simulation or ANSYS is preferred.
