Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, develop, and improve production processes through collaboration with a team of manufacturing engineers.
- Serve as the primary technical interface to the development team for the Coarse Pointing Assembly sub-module.
- Support operations teams by solving technical issues during production.
- Own the capacity increase roadmap for the production of the Coarse Pointing Assembly device.
- Spend time on the shop floor to implement new processes and solve technical blockers in production.
- Perform independent development work to identify and implement production improvement actions.
- Collaborate in meetings on new design introductions and production process change management.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of hardware design and validation experience.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of engineering practices for the software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
- Experience with hardware/software integration and real-time systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in production development testing and quality control measures.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
