Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain all manufacturing artifacts (MBOM, Routing, Work Order Template, Work Instructions, etc.).
  • Become the subject matter expert in the build and test processes of manufacturing a battery pack.
  • Serve as the catalyst to unblock and improve production processes through direct production support.
  • Conceptualize, design, develop, and improve production processes (assembly, integration, test processes).
  • Serve as the primary technical interface to the development team for Battery Pack assembly and test.
  • Own the capacity increase roadmap for production, including defining capital equipment needs.
  • Collaborate with teams on new design introductions and production process change management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing/Mechanical/Aerospace/Industrial/Electrical) or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience with integrating, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems.
  • 3+ years of experience with Computer Aided Design tools such as Solidworks or NX/Unigraphics.
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis Techniques (Fishbone, Fault Tree, DMAIC).
  • Technical writing experience, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production.
  • Familiarity with Low-Rate Manufacturing Environments & New Product Introduction is preferred.
