Innovation & Design Engineer, Worldwide Design Engineering

The role involves designing innovative fulfillment centers and logistics systems, focusing on automated material handling equipment and robotics. The engineer will manage multiple projects from concept to design approval and facilitate the installation and commissioning of these systems.

• Invent, design, and implement engineering solutions for material flow and efficiency problems.
• Coordinate design efforts for optimal solutions in the fulfillment and transportation network.
• Collaborate with teams and vendors to develop cost-effective solutions quickly.
• Manage multiple projects while influencing and communicating with stakeholders.
• Travel 40% globally to engage with business and technical leaders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Design/Innovation Engineering or related fields.
• Experience in managing engineering design projects with Material Handling Equipment.
• Proficiency in business/technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD.
• Preferred: Master’s degree and experience with automated material handling equipment and Lean Principles.
