Responsibilities
- Partner with internal and external teams to design cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems.
- Manage multiple engineering design projects simultaneously.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers on projects.
- Engage with the Ops Engineering team during the installation and commissioning phase.
- Work on a variety of projects including green-fields, brown-fields, and retrofits.
- Collaborate with a team of skilled engineers in a fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to high-impact and high-visibility projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or 5+ years of Amazon experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Design/Innovation Engineering or related fields.
- Experience managing engineering design projects involving Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Proficiency with business/technical software such as MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software.
- Master’s degree preferred with at least five years of relevant experience.
- Experience with complex automated systems and process design based on Lean Principles.
- Ability to travel 20%, including globally.
